Gertrudis, the protagonist, is a woman who comes across as strict and rigid to others, observing everything and everyone with meticulous precision. She has a very clear idea of how things should be and insulates herself in her world. But behind all the order she compulsively tries to control lies a woman who has already been deeply hurt in her past. She carries a great deal of emotional baggage. The show humorously portrays the process of freeing oneself from one’s burdens and is meant to inspire the audience to reflect.
